First Surgery Went Well

Igor's first surgery went very well. He underwent multiple skin grafts, partially using his own skin and partially a donor's. Doctors will evaluate the donor graft in three days and reassess next steps, with the possibility of continuing treatment early this weekend or Monday. At this point, they anticipate at least 4 more surgeries.
He is doing his best to keep his spirits up and we are incredibly grateful for all the care, kindness, and support you've shown. It truly means the world to us. Thank you for keeping Igor in your thoughts. We love you!
